Fieldwork and Internships

Some internships are available through the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Opportunities include

• Kids Write and Create, in which students work individually with children to help them develop competent reading and writing skills.
• Philadelphia Aphasia Community at Temple, which provides Speech, Language and Hearing Science majors with volunteer opportunities to work with individuals affected by a language disorder called aphasia.
• SPEAK NOW Summer Camp, at which children and teens diagnosed with stuttering receive supportive and therapeutic assistance through recreational activities.
