Interdisciplinary Opportunities

As part of the Piano Performance/Piano Pedagogy MM’s innovative curriculum, interdisciplinary opportunities are not just offered but encouraged for any and all interested students. Whether through collaboration with a vocalist, performing as part of a festival or show, or any number of other potential opportunities, Temple provides access to a variety of experiences aimed at exploring the art of music in new and interesting ways.

Careers

Pursuing a Piano Performance/Piano Pedagogy MM prepares students to continue their studies through a doctoral program or enter one of the following career opportunities, among others.

  • Collaborative pianist
  • Concert hall stage manager
  • Director of music
  • Music teacher or professor
  • Piano instructor

Career Services

Boyer College of Music and Dance provides small class sizes, intimate performance ensembles and a tight-knit academic community. Faculty members mentor students on an individual basis, helping them seek out internships and job opportunities.
