We encourage engineering undergraduates to participate in summer internships. After graduation, most students who have completed internships receive offers of employment for positions that are more prestigious and satisfying than the typical entry-level job.

Co-ops

Consider enhancing your engineering career prospects by completing a co-op assignment. Temple’s co-ops are flexible and entirely optional and help you gain invaluable insights and build contacts as you work alongside professional engineers. Undergraduate Research Internships

The College of Engineering encourages its students to get involved in research. Use our open labs and simulation software, and work with our faculty.

Temple also provides Educational Enhancement stipends, which fund approved faculty-mentored research, creative projects or unpaid internships during the summer or approved study abroad during the academic year for first-year Honors students.
