Learn to speak, read and write Japanese with the Undergraduate Certificate in Japanese in Temple University’s College of Liberal Arts.

This 20-credit certificate gives students the opportunity to acquire the language skills needed to use Japanese in social and professional settings, in Japan and across the modern global market.

Classes & Curriculum

The undergraduate certificate is awarded along with the bachelor’s degree. It is not a standalone program of study.

Courses you will take as part of the Japanese Certificate (Undergraduate) curriculum include

Japanese Advanced I and II,
Japanese Elements I and II, and
Japanese Intermediate I and II.
