The admissions process depends on if you are applying as a matriculated or non-matriculated graduate student. Please carefully read the information below to ensure you are following the correct admissions process.
To be considered for admission into the Interdisciplinary Health Communication Graduate Certificate program, applicants currently enrolled in a Temple University graduate program must meet the following requirements.
Submit your application through SOPHAS Express.
Submit your statements of interest and the program’s relevance to your career goals.
You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Submit a cover letter and/or your professional résumé.
To be considered for admission into the Interdisciplinary Health Communication Graduate Certificate program, non-degree seeking applicants must submit the following application materials.
Submit your application through SOPHAS Express.
A bachelor’s degree is required to apply. Submit transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions you’ve attended.
Submit your statements of interest and the program’s relevance to your career goals.
Submit a cover letter and/or your professional résumé.
Submit two letters of recommendation (at least one from an academic or college instructor, preferably graduate level).
The College of Public Health Admissions Office will coordinate the admissions process through SOPHAS Express for all applicants (currently enrolled graduate students or non-matriculated).
Laptops are integrated into the curriculum at the College of Public Health to improve opportunities for active learning and provide greater access to specialized software and required tools in and out of the classroom.
