Departmental Research

This degree is offered by the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences in Temple’s College of Public Health. PhD students can work closely with faculty mentors on a diverse range of public health research and evaluation projects, including sponsored studies in health promotion, disease prevention and health disparity reduction. Department faculty research emphases include

  • tobacco and other substance dependence prevention and treatment,

  • child and adult obesity and nutrition,

Research in Temple’s College of Public Health
