College of Engineering Research

The College of Engineering strongly encourages and welcomes undergraduate student participation in research activities that help you to put theory into practice. You'll also gain an appreciation of the research process through the guidance of our accessible faculty. Students work collaboratively with each other and nearly 70 full-time faculty members to explore new discoveries and advancements in engineering.

Research Funding

In 2016, Temple was elevated to an R1 institution of “highest research activity” by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, placing it in the top 4% of all four-year educational institutions in the nation.
