State authorization

Temple University is a participant in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) developed by the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). As such, Temple University is permitted to engage in all activities covered by SARA in states that are members of SARA. Temple University is committed to ensuring that it follows the laws and regulations of any state or territory in which it may operate and will take whatever steps necessary to gain approval from regulators if it engages in activities not covered by SARA.

College of Public Health Accreditation

Temple’s College of Public Health is fully accredited by CEPH. The college is one of only two CEPH-accredited schools of public health in the Philadelphia region and one of three in the state of Pennsylvania. Learn more about the College of Public Health’s accreditations.
