Applied Research and Evaluation PSM courses emphasize foundational knowledge in research theory as well as quantitative and qualitative research design and analysis. The curriculum prepares students for the program’s culminating events, which are a field placement or internship experience and a supervised research apprenticeship. Through these requirements, students apply their studies in real-world, professional organizations.

Careers

The Applied Research and Evaluation PSM is designed for students interested in conducting and supporting research projects and their implementation in a variety of contexts. The program prepares students for positions that focus on applied research and development within educational and organizational settings.

Academic settings may include research centers, institution evaluation units, and research and planning units within higher education. Other organizational settings may include applied research and development units within the public and private sector, and units within for-profit and nonprofit entities.
