Scholarships & Financial Aid

Graduate Fellowships

Fellowships are available through Temple’s graduate school for students with exceptional academic records. They include

  • presidential fellowships, which are reserved for only the most outstanding candidates; and
  • university fellowships, which are intended to support students who demonstrate outstanding potential for success in their chosen fields. These fellowships provide a stipend plus tuition for two years.
External Graduate Fellowships

There are a number of pharmacy fellowships offered by institutions and organizations outside Temple. External fellowships provide financial support for your academic endeavors and base their selection on different criteria, including affiliations, financial need and identity. Some external fellowships include

  • the Phi Lambda Sigma AFPE First-year Graduate School Fellowship, which encourages outstanding Phi Lambda Sigma members to pursue a PhD in a college or the School of Pharmacy’s graduate program.
  • the Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which supports high-performing students who possess the skill and aptitude to become outstanding scientists and leaders in academia, government and nonprofit sectors, and pharmacy.
  • the Rho Chi AFPE First-year Graduate School Fellowship, which is presented to a Rho Chi Honor Society member who is a pharmacy student in the final year of professional studies or a professional pharmacy degree program graduate entering a pharmaceutical sciences (including social or administrative sciences) PhD program in an accredited U.S. school or college of pharmacy as a full-time student.
