How to Apply

Graduate candidates must have a Bachelor of Architecture or a Master of Architecture degree. 

Apply through the graduate application portal.  

Fee: $60 (Fee waivers are available for those who qualify.) 

Once you’ve submitted your admission application, you will be able to upload supporting materials through your account in Tyler’s application portal by clicking “submit required items.” These include the letters of reference, statement of goals, résumé and standardized test scores.

English Language Proficiency Scores

Applicants who earned their baccalaureate degree from an institution where the language of instruction was other than English, with the exception of those who subsequently earned a master’s degree at a U.S. institution, must report scores for a standardized test of English that meet these minimums.

  • TOEFL iBT: 79
  • IELTS Academic: 6.5
  • PTE Academic: 53

Application Deadline

  • Fall: Jan. 6
  • Spring: Nov. 1

Applicants must meet the Jan. 6 priority deadline to be considered for financial assistance. After this date, applications may be considered on a rolling basis.
