Biography

Kesa Bond teaches in the undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs in the Department of Health Services Administration and Policy in the College of Public Health. She earned her bachelor of science in health information management from Temple University in 2000, a master of science in health administration from Saint Joseph's University in 2003, a master of arts in human and organizational systems from Fielding Graduate University in 2012, and a doctoral degree in human development from Fielding Graduate University in 2023.

Dr. Bond served as the director of health information management at Neshaminy Manor from 2000 to 2004 where she helped to implement an electronic health record (EHR). She served as an independent consultant for a long-term care facility from 2001 to 2012. Prior to coming to Temple University in 2007, she served as a clinical information specialist at McKesson Corporation, the world's largest pharmaceutical distribution company. Dr. Bond's research interests include childhood obesity, clinical decision support systems, and—most importantly—patient engagement and empowerment.
